Auction: How to activate Buyers Premium.

The buyer’s premium: The buyer’s premium is an additional charge that the winning bidder pays when they win an auction.

The buyer’s premium is a percentage of the winning prize, and it is charged by the auctioneer to cover the administrative expense.

The Auction Today App now supports Buyer’s Premium on our top-tier plans.

To enable this feature, the merchant must select the Buyer’s Premium checkbox to set the buyer’s premium when creating a new auction.

The merchant needs to set a number and can set any percentage value. Please note: do not enter Buyer Premium as a decimal value, e.g., enter 5 and not 5.0 or 5.5.

That value is added to the winning price once the customer wins the bid.

Please remember to save the auction.

After creating an auction, the user can see the buyer’s premium applies to the product.

After declaring an auction, the winner can see the buyer’s premium and winning prices in the invoice and on the checkout page.
