How to activate approved bidders

Approved Bidders: By including the bidder’s email, merchants can selectively approve the bidder. Only authorized bidders can place a bid through this functionality.

Note: To use this feature, merchants have to subscribe to our ENTERPRISE plan.

Step 1:

To enable Approved Bidders, follow these steps:

1. Access the app dashboard and navigate to the Auctions section.
2. Click “Approved Bidders” button to add bidders email addresses.

The merchant can see the email-adding section and can add/remove multiple emails.

After completing this setup, only the added email user can place a bid.

Note:

1. Please make sure all the email addresses are separated by comma (,)
2. By default, when no email address has been added, anyone is allowed to place a bid; however, as soon as you add an email address only the customers with that email address will be allowed to place a bid. Others will get a message saying ‘User is not approved for this bid’.
