How to enable Proxy Bidding / Automatic Bidding

Proxy / Automatic Bidding –

Using this feature, customers can set a maximum bid, triggering automatic bidding until the set limit is reached. This enriches the overall bidding experience for the customer, as he does not need to place a bid manually every time they are outbid.

The merchant can easily activate Automatic bidding using the app by following these steps:

1. Access the App dashboard and navigate to the Auctions section.
2. Create a new auction or edit an existing auction.
3. Scroll down in the auction settings, and you will find the “Proxy Bidding / Automatic Bidding” section.
4. Enable the “Proxy Bidding / Automatic Bidding” checkbox.
5. Save the changes to apply the Proxy Bidding / Automatic Bidding to the auction.

Note: Once the proxy / automatic bidding checkbox is selected and the auction is saved, we do not allow the merchant to update or edit this proxy bidding setting again. If you want to stop proxy bidding for this auction, you will have to stop this auction and set up another one with same product.
